c) Like RPC over HTTPS enables Outlook clients to connect to a backend Exchange 2003 server, Terminal Services Gateway enables the use of a frontend IIS server to accept connections (over port 443) for backend Terminal Services servers via a https connection. Windows Server 2008 is required.
d) Authentication at the Level of the Network.
e) The ClearType font smoothing technology is supported, along with the remote access to the Aero Glass Theme (or Composed Desktop).
f) There is full local machine support for Windows Presentation Foundation effects when using a client that is compatible with the.NET Framework 3.0.
g) The code for redirecting devices has been rewritten to be more flexible and useful in general.
h) Windows Management Instrumentation allows for complete configuration and scripting.
i) Bandwidth tuning for RDP clients has been improved.
j) Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.0 server and client support (can be negotiated if both parties agree, but not mandatory in a default configuration of any version of Windows).
k) To enable a single session to make use of multiple monitors on the client, we must support multiple monitors (disables desktop composition).
